I think flashy wheels would be on this list too. I’m talking the big chrome wheels, or the ones that are a complete opposite of the color of the car. I’ve been guilty of this, and now I realize it seems douchey. ---

Hate HIDs in non projector housings. I used to think it was OK until someone showed me how much they suck on another forum. Aftermarket projectors with a really shitty cutoff can also be total ass Sent from my A500 using Tapatalk 2 ---

I disagree with a pilar gauges. Not to mention the ones pictured are worth about $700 and rather highend. When you sink $10K into a built motor your a fool if you rely on the “too late your fucked” light on the cluster. Ya gotta put them somewhere. Steering column mounts obstruct view on the cluster, taking vents and shit out of the dash to put 2 maybe 3 gauges in there is cool but impractical. And the giant dash pods obstruct view sometimes too. Now, if they have a 5 pod apilar full of AutoZone $21 boost gauges and narrowband and volt meters yeah, your a tard ---

the gauge statement is point blank retarded… you NEED gauges in a built car and not alot of people want to cut up there dash/glovebox or rip out there ac vents to stick custom gauges there… the triple pod pillar is the easiest way to go. Hid kits in stock housings? Call me selfish, but I drive to keep myself safe, fuck everyone else… I got hids in stock headlights in my stock 06 civic, I see better during rain/snow then I do with my yellow highbeams on… Im one of the people that actually gets em for saftey and added vision rather then most that just like the color lol… and i dont rock crawl, but i think my lifted truck looks nice ;( ---

I also disagree with the a pillar gauges. Making sure my a/f and boost levels are good is worth it. Not to mention like kk said my a pillar was custom made costing $250, defi boost was $200, and my aem wideband was over $200. Also good luck getting tuned on a big build without a wideband lol ---

I gotz the gearhead jointz. And they don’t blind anyone, well anymore, they were aimed a bit high and people would flash their hi-beams. I lowered them a bit and no issues. Plus I still have WAY better visibility at night especially in the rain with them than standard halogen bulbs. ---

My favorite part is stance being number 1. As for HIDs, its pretty simple to retro fit some nice projectors for not to much bread. Sometimes you can reaim reflectors down a little to avoid blinding everyone but your average idiot doesnt consider that. Sent from my LG-VM696 using Tapatalk 2 ---

i don’t think people in this thread are realizing that all of these mods make you look like an asshole to the general public. even if they are needed for your type of build someone that isn’t into cars is going to think your car with apillar gauges is just as slow as the bone stock civic with apillar gauges, no muffler and cut springs. they don’t realize that your car is built and you need to be monitoring that shit. ---
