# TESTING WATERS 2000 GTI GLX VR6 5SP red/black flordia car

**_SOLD_** This is a testing waters as I REALLY love the car, I just dont use it. When i get up and go to work ( I drive for work) I look at the Vr6 and then at the diesel low 20mpg or mid 40’s lol and i NEVER take the GTI… but it is a blast to drive when i do drive it.
PRICE: 4999 OBO
Year: 2000
Make: VW
Modal: Golf GTI (2 door) GLX (LOADED)
Engine: VR6 was told by last owner that it received a new Head gaskit, timing belt and tensioners at 120K (no chain noise at all)
Current milage: 144K
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual, recites for a replaced transmission. at around 100K-I put a New sachs clutch in 1k miles ago.
Mods: Exhaust… this is THE SEXIEST sounding car IMHO. Intake (short ram with a separator wall, not the goes to the ground and sucks up water kind), Euro Switch with front and rear fogs, HID’s. Audi TT wheels, H&R cup kit, Tint.
Mait: New Radiator, New Clutch, new slave, master and clutch line.
Options: Heated black leather, Power windows, power locks with keyless entry (switch blade key), auto climate control, auto dimming mirror\*, heated mirrors and squirters, on board computer (mileage counter, outside temp, drive time estimator…ect) Monsoon Radio with 6 disk cd changer, sunroof, mudflaps, monster mats, traction control, corner stabilizing.
Things that could use attention: Paint, its a Florida car and has a few clear coat peeling spots (aka sunburn), auto dimming mirror is always dark, glove box & arm rest latch are like all mk4’s broke. tear on driver bolster. And last but not least the only light on the dash is an airbag light… never looked into it doesnt bother me that its on. I may scan it see if its a sensor or somthing
I may slowly find the parts to fix those issues as I love the car and its my toy ATM, but I just don’t have a need for it. Im in no rush as im still waiting on the title from the DMV so its a testing waters.
Price is 4999 OBO, only trade would be for a bike, preferably a BMW or sport tourer that is decent 2-up, or another TDI

Minus the clear coat peeling a bit, this car is really solid. Mike knows what he’s doing when it comes to these kind of cars. The exhaust + the vr6 = amazing exhaust note :tup: I would not hesitate buying anything from Mike knowing that he’s gone over everything with this.

I have been in this car, sounds fucking awesome. Rides awesome, comfortable as ever, has decent pickup for a VR6. Mike is a great dude and I would not have a problem backing up any of his work. PS let me know when you get your vag teco
