Please, having a national event like this that can make people feel good and can give hope to people and there is nothing wrong with that. Tomorrow the real work begins. And I will be just as critical of him as the next guy if he doesn’t hold up on some of his promises. Comparing this to buying a pizza shows you know absolutely nothing of the importance of this event. Since you hate the guy you can’t understand why people, especially blacks weep for this moment. There are over 2 millions reasons why to have this event in Washington right now and millions across the country glued to the TV’s watching it. Again you know nothing of what this event means to people so there is no way you can understand why the costs mean nothing. Value of event\>costs. I hope your also against the super bowl parade as well otherwise you are just a hypocrite ---

I thought his speech was good, full of serious poignant statements and less rhetoric. I hope that he can be our best president only time will tell. I do hope that he repeals the patriot act as promised but I highly doubt that will happen. ---

It’s funny how the 398 million dollar bridge to nowhere was one of the key points to the democrats whitehouse bid, but a 180 million dollar feel good party is just what the country needs. ---

Although I was unable to vote, I would have voted for Obama. Why? I have no fucking idea. Maybe it is because I do not know the first thing about politics, how they work, or who stands for what…So color me at least %50 of the people my age who voted.
