I don’t know you at all except for on nyspeed, so that’s my only judgement point. To me, you sound like a know-it-all who is never wrong, and it comes off as cocky. I’ve seen it in a handful of other threads too. Maybe it’s just your writing tone that rubs me the wrong way, I don’t know. ---

But I was more getting at putting that 20 ish towards a 20-30 year mortgage \> Paying car in cash. What the car loan interest will cost you vs the compounded interest on the home loan. Over 20 years that extra 20 towards the mortgage would save you over 10 in interest.
