I went 3 months without any caffeine (and a serious lack of sugar)… after a week or so your body really breaks it’s addiction from caffeine. After 3 months, I went and bought a large coffee with 4 shots of espresso… I drank it and felt uncomfortably energetic.

I’ll have a shot of espresso every morning to get me moving, but throughout the day I only drink water… only time I’ll drink a Red Bull is during a long drive… sugar loading\>\>\>falling asleep at the wheel.

The number of reported occurances of this is REDICULOUS! Who in their right mind downs two whole cans of monster or rockstar on an otherwise “empty stomach” in a 4hr period?

You would be amazed at the number of kids I see come into school in the morning with these drinks. And I know many of them aren’t eating breakfast before school, hence the drink to wake them up after rolling out of bed and getting to school. I have definitely seen some bring 2 cans in, one for breakfast and one at lunch, which may not even be 4 hours later.

This is my one guilty pleasure of this list, it’s so good! I try not to drink caffeinated drinks often, maybe a every other week I’ll have a pop. Besides that, an Amp every month or so as a treat lol.

Anyone ever try Provigil? Caffeine doesn’t have squat.

I did learn however, that I’ve been drinking out of cans wrong for years however.

If you ever see these at a gas station, try them.

I have never felt so cracked out in my entire life.

Anyone who loves energy drinks should probably try adult ADHD meds like vyvanse. Way…way better, and covered by insurance!

Monster and Red Bull do nothing for me. I’ve consumed Monster and fallen asleep on the couch right after finishing it. But, I usually drink 1 of the Absolute Zeros or Ultra Zeros a day as I like the taste. I don’t know how anyone can drink the green Monsters-way to sugary

I would use redbull etc to give me a boost during the day.

I decided to cut caffeine out of my life and start sleeping properly and now I have way more energy
