You know what I do? I turn the other way. I don’t read the news, (unless it’s local and/or Dear Abby.) I don’t keep up on oil prices. I don’t know who’s buying what from where. Call it ignorance, but ignorance is bliss baby. I seriously am not worrying about it, because I don’t even know if I should be.
Obviously I know I have to do less spending, less driving, etc. But other than that, I have no clue what’s going on. And I’m ok with that.

Thanks for the compliments.I’ve been telling people for years what the war really was about but noone would really listen.
I believe 99% that the war was to protect the Americans people way of life.It is somewhat similar to the movie swordfish.I only wish I would’ve taken it a little more seriously a few years back when I knew.
I think things are going to get scary pretty fast.I’m not posting this stuff to be all doom and gloom,nor for the attention,Just trying to help people become a little more prepared if something major does happen.
And yes guns+ ammo are an excellent thing to put away.Along with silver and gold.
I hope and pray I am wrong trust me,but the events in the world are saying different.

i dont know, we’re just an extra state that is too geographically challenging to assimilate.
the US controls all of our natural resource exports and all of our politicians. However, we are allowed to appear to be opposed so certain American legislation to as to maintain some sort of credibility as an independent nation.
if by some stroke of amazingness we cut american export of our massive oil production i am sure we would be bombed in less than an hour.
it should also be noted that any dullard can make $80k - $150k a year working in the oil patch in Northern Alberta where the cocaine and bar fights flow like water…
Saskatchewan is said to have the largest untapped natural gas reserves in the world and is starting to boom save for the labour shortage. tons of oil up in the northern Territories that are supposedly too expensive to drill for… but hey, lets drill on the otherside of the world and bring it over here…

Anyway, IMO the people of america need a little more ambition, and stop being so fucking dumb. I hate hearing stories about kids in high school caring more about where they are getting they next gram of coke, bickering about how difficult the Standardized tests of new york are, and what celebrity is dating who.
A little more ambition and actual care about your lifestyle, everyone could be a business owner and living wealthy.
I’m really starting to hate this country.

With the IndyMac crash over the weekend it will be very interesting to see what happens with Freddie/Fanny stock when the market opens tomorrow.
From what I’ve read/discussed with people at work a lot of the panic over freddie/fanny is overblown because they generally deal in low risk mortgages. These aren’t the interest only or adjustable rate no money down gimmick mortgages that are causing the major problems in the industry.
We’ll see if the government has to step in to get the investors past this fear based sell off.
