Anyone just watch the premier of The Car Show? Not amazing, Carolla’s voice annoys me, but I’d say overall a step up from TGUSA… ---

at this point i’d say its worse then top gear america…it didn’t flow, their news segment was boring and too long the game show portion sucked. i’ll continue to watch because as with every car show, they seem to get better with time. also don’t really like the nba player that’s on the show, he seemed useless so far. ---

As the first show, I think it is alright. I am a fan of the man show, and I think Adam is alright also. However the “American” style studio presentation seems a bit old. I also agree the game show segment needs to go. ---

I agree, seemed similar to ESPN and the sports player added about one black joke and thats it… oh and he didnt know what a 918 was and he owns a Toyota so two thumbs down for him ---

I thought the Rolls segment worked, mostly because Dan Neil is a legit auto pundit. It also was probably the best way to use Adam Carolla…as a clown, not a host. Matt Farrah was pretty good in the studio segments, less so in the Porsche film. If Neil and Farrah ran the show and they focused on actual car analysis and the love of cars, it would be a great show. But its “The Car Show with Adam Carolla” so it will likely be lots of gay jokes with the occasional half-wrong automotive fact. Kinda like the forum. ---

Wait…so Adam isn’t doing TGUSA anymore? or is he doing both shows? Or is TGUSA not coming back? I thought it was coming back at the end of summer (according to [finalgear.com](http://finalgear.com)) ---

I agree, Adam is definitely the clown of the show, intentionally or not; I mean his jokes are quite edgy, which is brilliant. He will most definitely get a lot of the stuff wrong on the show, either the host will get all over it or he will make something out of it. Remember that joke Adam made after John Sally said “I bet there are no black guys at the Mojave Mile” :crackup:crackup. ---

Dan Neil is legit, but those suits all were some stupid joke, probably Adam Corolla’s idea since 80% of his jokes suck. Fat guy and black guy don’t seem to fit in and I don’t like the. With that being said, I’d say the pilot was miles ahead of the entire first season of top gear US. Hopefully they can build on it. Worst comment of the entire show: “If you put the engine in the middle you ruin the practicality that everyone loves about the corvette.” I wasn’t aware bald headed middle aged guys bought corvettes for the practicality of them.
