How many times have you been in an accident with your or any 240? This includes drifting into stuff with reasonable damages, other people smacking into your ride etc. I’m just kinda curious! 😛

twice for me…the serious ones anyway
got a dent by where the antenna is…looks odd, like someone hit it with the handle part of a baseball bat
the other major one is the passenger side fender is missaligned and dented by bottoming out…
the rear end is a little scratched up and stuff…nothing a good buff wont get out…

my front valance has been knocked off at least 20 times in the last year and a half.
sometimes more than once in a night, and i’ve run over this one at least 3 times, and my old one a couple more times when they get knocked off.
met a ditch and a streetsign with a lot of damage and proud to wear it.
one curbing on an impul.
various other scars, some are mine, some were there when i got it.

I’ve come close once or twice already, but it has always been someone else being stupid so far. I only push my car to it’s absolute limit once in a while, typically I find I need to drive like a granny to stay alive & ticket-free sometimes in this city. :doubt:

pffff, close-calls dont count…
i flat-spotted some tires i have broke so hard to avoid rear ending people.
and near misses happen every day.

you hit another curb with different impul last year
and you then hi a different curb with your front bumper the same night

remember
doughnuts, ride half way up curb bounce off curb with front bumper, lip comes off
then you hit a differnet curb same parking lot
last summer

I’ve totalled 2 240s already… I’m on the 3rd chassis, havent crashed it
yet but its taking a beating because its so low…
I’ve also ran over my front lip more than once, and it scrapes everything… Its a trooper.

I slid in to a fence pole at my work when it was all ice and made a small dent but its getting fixed this winter. (I was 1 of like 10 ppl that hit it)
Whey my dad had the car he got rear ended by a CRX that went under him. And then he hit the person in front. Front bumper and rear bumper got repainted no damage. Then he got rear ended again buy some dumass crossing 3 lanes. Rear bumper paint cracked. Then he got rear ended again for a lady that though the light when green and just drove in to him. Bumper paint cracked again. Every time he was completely stopped for over 30seconds, and it was daytime.

i was doing 2nd gear manji’s at 70 down my road and slid off the road into some grass, no damage just grassy and dirty.

i’ve never crashed MY car, but i did write off a 300zx once hehe…
twasn’t mine tho, nor did i have permission to drive it…
thus i ran away but alas i was captured by the police and issued a plethera of charges. 9 POINTS… i got off tho, long story short.

as far as my 240 goes, im a lucky bastard. i’ve never crashed any of the 5 cars i’ve owned… a couple weeks ago tho, someone smashed into my baby when she was parked outside my house, and didnt leave any info :twisted: . looks like drift damage so i didnt fix it yet… oh well

My first two40 was a write-off after a pickup truck (doing 65ish, with 3 people in the car) decided to ignore a redlight and sideswipe me (driverside) as I’m in the middle of the intersection.
I had a Saturn before that which met a tree one night. But that’s being fixed up.

I had a small accident in the winter with my mom’s car cuz the damn thing had no ABS or winter tires and I’m a n00b 😃 Fender and headlight.
Nothing has ever happened to the 240 or my celica thou.
