Yes, but with flashers on it is more likely someone behind you will see you in sudden white out conditions. If your not on the brakes it can be difficult to be seen.

“…but you’re probably more likely to rear end the vehicle in front of you as you lull the driver into a hazard induced coma. Meanwhile I’m preparing to ram you with any speed i can muster up on this crowded highway after being hurled into a rage of flashing taillights.”

Sunday, I passed 14 cars in a FUCKING row on 400. Of course after I demonstrated the possibilty, 4 other cars passed right behind me. No one had the kahunas until I made the move.

Nice to know I’m not the only one who wants to choke-a-bitch when people turn on their hazards because the weather is bad. They’re meant to communicate that you individually have a unique problem, not to let us all know that we have an environmental problem. WE ALREADY FUCKING KNOW!!!

It is annoying if people leave them on when they are in the middle of the pack… but if I am on the tail end of the pack I have the flashers on cause I don’t trust people

Best was friday on the 190, Everyone can barley go 20 mph. everyone also had the flashers on god! The yellow mustang gt that thought it was ok to do 60 must have wanted to kiss the guard rail. Funny ass shit! Then yesterday comming home some crazzy woman in a malibu some how went sideways into 2 other cars and flipped over right in front of all the traffic. I could not belive it! Her flashers where on after that crash, wonder if it was on the news looked really bad.

both these items were addressed in the “DO” portion of my original post.

My gripe is when people leave them on when they’re sandwiched mid-pack.

I am surprised that not many people have mentioned the negative effects hazards have on the other communication areas of your lights… It is hard to see - A. When a blinker is on in addition to the hazards, and B. When you are using your brakes.

Yikes. thanks guys.

I got confused because DOs looks like DOS, which reminds me of Dr. Dos, which makes me think of myspace, and that makes me think of myspace USER names.

I hate when people pass people using their flashers and then slide into the guardrail (ie, cobalt SS on i90 a few weeks ago).

But yeah unless you’re leading a pack at a reasonable speed or at the back of a pack, flashers are retarded.

Or if you’re driving in the center of the road in zero visibility. rt. 5 was a circus three days ago
