ok… well i saw one in person in west newton of all places on the way to the garage… the body lines around the fenders on the internet look real drastic and they aren’t in real life… it’s like a wanna be nsx / modena… not a bad looking car. ---

1. atleast thats what the GM badges had in their multi-media panphlet. but i heard some ppl now sayin 505. but whatever 5hp doesnt mean much. ---

it’s slightly underrated, whereas GM stated the “Race” version puts out 512hp. And they did not do any real detuning for the production version of the LS7. So, 500-512hp is the best guess. Either way, no big diff, but I tell you what, I love that car. ---

I do not expect Dodge to take this lightly with the new Cobra, and Z06, matching/exceeding the Viper’s HP. Shelby and SVT said, the 2007 Shelby Cobra, will be the fastest straight line vehicle made for that year, and still put down close to 1g on the skid. So who knows. the new Z06 is rumored to put down well over 1g, and hit mid 11’s. Which is Ford GT, Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini Murcielago, and Porsche Carrera GT territory.
