A friend in high school had one of these, but obv not the R/T. Car is ugly as f0k but if its fast I could def see it being a nice sleeper

These car were like the Buick Grand National was to the 80s. They beat up on all the V8 stangs and camios. But if you ere buying a new car in 92 I doubt you would look twice at a turbo K-car. The Dodge Duster was a quick car as well. Same lightweight chassis but with a 3.0 V6 and 5spd. obviously the R/T responded better to simple mods and was more performance oriented.
There were a few turbo 2.2 and 2.5 Chrysler products at my high school and people would laugh at them until they mopped up the V6 and even some V8 cars. I watched a buddies Daytona walk a IROC-Z and Contour SVT. They were stout cars even without the dual cam head.
