Never once did I say “The Hip” doesn’t have any meaning to their songs or isn’t different. I’ll agree that The Tragically Hip have a different sound mainly vocally than other bands. To me Gordon Downie has one of the worst singing voices in the music industry. Their songs are bland and really have no spark to them. I would, hands down, rather see the the Glenn Miller Orchestra at artpark then “The Hip”. Last time I was at artpark for a free concert the band was great but it took 3 hours to make a 45 minute drive. Not to mention it took 2+ hours to get home. Which is why I’ll never do that again. ---

Yea thats why we are getting a hotel room kind of making a mini vacation out of it… but I hear what your saying about their songs but then if you listen to songs such as fireworks, or new orleans is sinking, etc… they are not bland at all…but to each his own. ---
