What’s wrong with winterboard? It’s pretty shitty compared to summerboard, but works none-the-less for stuff like this. Status notifier is up and running for me!

Another reason to jailbreak:Backgrounder on Cydia
Allows you to run selected programs in the background. Perfect example is Pandora. You can now listen to music and browse the web, email, texts, etc and not close out of the program.
When you are in the program you want to keep running, hold the home key and it will pop up and say its enabled and you can do whatever. Haven’t tried with AIM yet tho but has potential to keep stuff running.

no shit… have you tried running a program with sound, on top of pandora? I saw it last night but didn’t bother d/ling it.
Also, remember that d/l plugin? someone ported mobile finder to 2.0 finally, so you can copy music/files from folder to folder :tup:

FRING IS AMAZING! FREE APP ON THE APP STORE!
Free VoIP calls through your phone. I have Skype out so I can use that. Also trying a SIP provider that I am adding to try to use that. Also voice chat through certain IM clients (MSN, SKYPE, GOOGLE TALK)
EDIT: [www.voipbuster.com](http://www.voipbuster.com) as a SIP provider that has free US-US calls. If you signup for an account, you can add the provider to fring and get free voice calls that do not use minutes. The only issue we found is that there is a bit of a delay which might be my internet provider at home.
ISSUES: voipbuster needs numbers dialed with a 1XXXYYYZZZZ. If your phone book has a bunch of numbers that are (585) 555-1234 you need to put the one and edit the number before it dials which is easy to do when it pops up before it dials.

Firmware 2.2 is rumored to have google street view support now. I cant wait to see how many more features we are going to get now that the gPhone is out in the wild.
They are keeping it quiet but can’t wait. No release date yet.

Ya you have to have WiFi. Our internet at work is nat-ed so the talk path has problems passing through.

Ya I tried it on my 3Mbps DSL connection. I was downloading something using about 75% of my connection so it was busy. The call quality was good, a bit of a delay. I want to try on a clean connection becuase voipbuster on my DSL works awesome.
