I personally am of the belief that Pittsburgh is too resistant to change to ever really approach the growth and economic stability that it had in the 70’s and very early 80’s. But that is neither here nor there. Like I said, I didn’t say I had the answers for what to do to fix it. You’re just upset that I blew your argument about the NBA and whatever else out of the water. Now you are trying to change the subject. I personally am of the belief that Pittsburgh is too resistant to change to ever really approach the growth and economic stability that it had in the 70’s and very early 80’s. And I am of the belief that you can change peoples minds if you show them some results. Little by little - results. Obviously a wifi won’t be the cure to this towns problems but consistant improvements will help rebuild our reputation. Maglev is starting their manufactoring facility here in pittsburgh to make the maglev train rails. That will be done by robot. Electro optics industry is building. A combination of medicine, tourism and gaming, and manufacturing could in fact revive pittsburgh. but it has to start some how. ---

Case in point - the steelers. when they are losing people bitch but give them a few wins and everyone runs out and buys the merch.
