there is too much concern on whats real metal and whats metal enough, I listen to what sounds good to me I could give a fuck if the name is stupid or if they look like emo kids. I play in a band myself and its nice to other people playing music that sounds good. ---

I hate people who won’t classify certain bands as “Metal”. If you are that narrow minded you are missing out BIG TIME. I also hate the battle over the genre of the music. Bands that are like “bay side thrash north American technical blackened death metal”. People will dispute genres when they could be either or. Like Behemoth could very well be Death Metal and at the same time could be Black Metal. I myself like the bands Brutal/Heavy/Fast. Origin is one of those bands that can pummel your eardrums. I went to their show about 2 years ago and not only did they come out full force but after the show they shook hands and shared some thanks with fans in the crowd. Often times they stick around and just shoot the shit with fans. They said they really hate leaving after a show cause they enjoy hanging with the fans. I gotta say that Metal fans are usually the most passionate and loyal fans around. ---
