Time to move on to something more practical and reliable since the S4 is toast. So I picked this sweet ride up. It’s a 2010 Jetta TDI DSG with sunroof, premium audio and cold weather package. Buying new was a tough decision however with 0% interest throughout the loan, full 5yr 60k warranty, and just the feeling of owning new was enough to push me over. And, as you said TDI’s hold their value like crazy! ---

Nice pick up. I love the tdi’s Also proves to my retarded co workers who say you can’t buy a brand new diesel car in NY. Was that even a law ever? If so when was it lifted? If anyone knows. ---

You certainly can buy a diesel, since 2009 (VW anyway). I believe they stopped selling the TDI’s from 06-08 and since then it’s a completely new engine and they also have added a DPF (filter in exhaust) to keep it clean. Maybe that had something to do with it. You also get an income tax credit for buying a clean diesel vehicle. ---
