Im looking to get a Paratrooper sks for my next rifle purchase. They are a bitch to find. After that im planning on picking up a Cetme Battle Rifle. Its 308, My buddy has one and it is a blast to go out and shoot.

The SKS at first glance seems like a cheap piece of shit and built like crap. But in reality it’s AK reliability in them when taken down to the basics. The wood stock on most are cheap pine, very soft and easily broken so keep that in mind. They make composite stocks for them, I think JVG has one I’ve yet to install on it.
Not my type of gun, wouldn’t buy one myself, but still fun to shoot on the cheap side of things.
Can’t speak of the Cetme. Never laid eyes on one let alone shoot.

I already own an SKS with a composite stock on it, im just looking to pick up the Paratrooper model. It is a blast to shoot and hardly ever jams up. As far as the Cetme goes my buddy has one and it is a blast to shoot.

sks are cheap and pretty accurate actually, hard to fuck up/jam like boxer said and they are a blast to shoot! parts are cheap as well as ammo (compared to similar cartridges)

+1 on the revolver thing.
i own one revolver, and ive shot it i believe only once. its badass to look at, and its a slammer, but id much rather have a 1911 or even a glock in my hands.

okay so the sks is economic and reliable. I guess thats a good enough reason. I still dont want one tho.
i just want a big fat pistol , a big fat shotgun, a big fat assault rifle and someday a little skinny rocket launcher

I HATE Taurus revolvers with a passion. Fit and finish compared to a Smith & Wesson, Ill take the S&W any day. I love shooting my S&W .357 Magnum, 7-rounds, and you dont have to search for brass that ejects.
A friend of mine bought a Taurus Titanium frame .38 and the finish pitted on the frame after a month. Never had an issue with my S&W. Every Taurus I’ve held has play in the magazine too.
Short barrel .50 magnum = hot
