Yeah some how I have a small armory in my basement now. Large enough for the CPD detective doing my pistol permit enough reason to give me shit and about my rifles that has nothing to do with me having or wanting a pistol.

so i had the chance to get out and shoot today. only brought to pistols with me today, 2 9mm. the kimber solo, and my beretta 92 fs.
beretta 92 fs- LOVE IT. its badass, mine is the inox finish and i have crimson trace. with the laser on not even looking down the sights i hit within an inch of where the laser was every time. it is heavy and big for carrying but in a SHTF moment in my home it would be one of the first pistols id go for. thing is reliable and accurate.
kimber solo- so happy i am selling my s&w body guard .380. with this beautiful 9mm gun that isnt much bigger than the BG i will never look at or touch .380 again. thing is more accurate then i am shooter (not a bad shot, but no means a pro). i had no problems shooting 115 grain FMJ, 124 grain Speer GDHP, and 147 Winchester jacketed controlled expansion.
kimber does reccomend 124-147 self defense ammo, but i tryed the 115 fmj to see if it would cycle it for plinking and practice. i had zero cycling malfunctions with any of the info.
i did speak to kimber directly they do not reccomend (+p) or (+P+) loads for the solo.
i highly reccomend everyone to look at this little guy.

I still hate Kimber, I shot my friends 1911 Kimber Carry .45 this afternoon, they still bug the shit out of me.
Spur of the moment shoot, popped an old mirror, wine bottles, beer bottles, and water jugs. Meh…

but why? i mean friends of mine have sigs and say my kimbers out shoot them stock to stock. what kimber was it? idk i have two 1911’s and the solo with a third 1911 on order and i love kimber. id pay for a kimber 1911 before id take a sig 1911 for free.
what dont you like? i just dont get it. if you dont like kimber 1911s maybe its 1911s you dont like not so much, not kimber yeah no?
if you wanna spend the money, springfields trp is amazing.

So today I picked up my new AR from JVG’s after him and Adam put it together and Adam pinned/welded the muzzle brake and stock.

Very nice AR man, i deff would like to own one of these someday, I went ahead and bought the ak first, but ARs are much more accurate

Best part of that rifle is that grip. Best grip feel of any I’ve worked with, and very cheap too.
