The shit you New Yorkers have to go through for permits it should be that way now. So, as I am looking more and thinking more about ARs I am considering an AR pistol chambered in 9mm. I’ve heard the .223 round doesn’t perform as well in a shorter barrel. Rock River has a 7 inch barrel available. I’m not a huge fan of short barreled rifles unless it’s in a pistol caliber. I still call that Sig 556 pistol an SBR just due to its rifle cartridge. I honestly wouldn’t bother with the Sig or similar. You can get better an cooler stuff designed around a 9/.40/.45 round I think. Shit, an FN FiveseveN would be sick as they come with 20rd mags I believe, in your less communist states of course. What’s your budget Jim, and when can I come up and shoot everything? ---

:rofl we gotta figure out a gravel pit day when I don’t work some weekend day. Through the week it’s got some traffic through it. I try not to work around budgets :lol So you think the 9mm or other pistol caliber is the way to go too? FN five seven is cool but I’m a fan of the SBR variants. Any other brands I should look at? I love shooting my AK pistol. ---

jim, i hate you. that is all. for real you suck for being able to have SBR’s. if i could have them id have them. fuckin a. that sig is sick! one in a 9mm would be amazing i think. i just dont like the buffer tube thingy on the rock rivers. ---

Question about cantilever barrels. I have a 20ga Winchester 1300 with a rifled barrel setup for deer with a scope that is bolted to the receiver. I’d like to also use it for small game and trap. So ideally I would like to get a cantilever rifled barrel so I can switch barrels and not have to remove/resight the scope every year. Problem is Winchester doesn’t make a 20ga cantilever, just 12ga. Anyone know of aftermarket barrels? I can’t find anything. Edit: And before you say buy a 870, I was going to but the feel of the 1300 is way better IMO and the foregrip doesn’t rattle like the new 870’s I looked at.
