I’ve got that beautiful red saiga I got from cossey with like 20 clips and 1000 rounds of ammo… Would take me a damn nice offer to move it though.

Piece of shit gun from a piece of shit manufacturer. Lots of quality control issues with those IOI, WASR, Century Arms firearms.
When it comes to AKs, Polytech, Saiga, VEPR, Arsenal, and maybe one ro two other manufacturers are the best to get.

agreed with that, but I will note ive had nothing but success with wasr’s. if you can hand pick one at a store you can get good ones. they are on the cheaper side but it will go bang when you need it to. my friend has over 5,000 rounds through his wasr and its still good to go.

So my pistol permit finally came through, those of you with yours already what would you recommend for handguns. Looking for a .22 for something cheap to shoot and I have my heart set on some sort of 1911 variant.

gsg 1911 .22lr. cheap to buy, cheap to shoot, quality gun, same size and feel as any other 1911, mine has ate any kind of ammo ive tried, etc.
sig saur makes a pretty good looking .22 1911. no first hand exp with it though.

Sorry phrased that wrong. I’m looking to purchase 2 different fire arms. Something contemporary in .22 and a .45 1911 variant. Strongly leaning towards a kimber. You have several right? Anything you don’t like about them?

i have three .45 kimbers and i LOVE them all. no issues. i will tell you if you dont find one in store, it takes a few - several months to get one.
