My friends seems too loose and sloppy, it doesnt have a good feel to it in my hands. Mine was wayyyyy too stiff, slide was a bitch to pull back - almost as if the slide spring was too heavy. I own a late 80’s/early 90’s Llama 9mm 1911 that was used by a local Sheriff as his side arm, its literally so worn in that Ive had spent shells roll out onto my wrist and stay there when shooting, needless to say they just “fall” out of the gun, they dont eject lol. When I hold that 1911, it just feels better. I’m just not impressed by Kimbers quality. If I wanted top notch in a 1911 I would go with a Wilson Combat Supergrade or a Nighthawk Custom.
