I couldn’t believe when my friend called me on the way home and told me about a car on fire. Then Joey got a call from one of you guys about what happened. Insanity. I was in shock the whole night about it. The car may be a total loss, but at least all of you are ok. ---

yah…good thing no one was hurt. I would rather watch a meterial thing burn anyday then over someone get physically hurt reminds me of last winter when my dads snowmobile just burst out into flames for no reason…burnt right to the ground ---

and now maybe people will understand why im so anal about my car. im always poking around under the hood inspecting things. its just how i am… let the events sink in and look ahead to tomorrow and try to weigh the options. definently something you never want to see or experience, but luckily everyone is ok. ---

first off i want to say thank you to everyone that stopped and lent a hand or an ear last night…i dont know what the fuck happened. :sad if we had a fire extinguisher the car would be 100% fine right now. guys learn from my misfortune… i dont give a shit if someone says they are ricey or whatever… fucking get one. the funny thing is im NEVER under my hood… i trust my cars and they (for the most part) have never failed me… and last night before we left my house we popped the hood and checked everything… all fluids and hoses were fine and tight… everything LOOKED 100% kosher. im just in utter shock and now i have no way to or from work. you guys obviously dont have to give me anything as there was no fault in what happened, but donations wont be turned away :ponder… im pretty sure this is going to end my participation in this scene for a while… it somehow left a bitter taste in my mouth (no gay jokes please) and again… thank you to all again… but it was JUST a car… not sure how id cope if someone were to get hurt in my car…just remember guys/girls… think and be safe. ---

As corny as this sounds, in memory of tonights happenings, I think it should be required that everyone on this forum carries an extinguisher to participate in gatherings/cruises/etc. Maybe I’m just loopy before bed but I think it’s a good idea.
