The racial shit has just gone too far. Iā€™m tired of it. The ā€œpowerfulā€ blacks like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, etcā€¦ do absolutely nothing to promote their race. Like Shalerpunk said, they sensationalize relatively tame public outcries and make them into these huge, national stories. How does that help anyone, white or black? What they should do is go into schools, churches, etcā€¦ and start teaching kids. People our age, say, 21 and older, have basically already become set in our ways, whether we are racist, prejudice, or something else. I think everyone is racist. I tell people that Iā€™m racist. Why? Because when or if Iā€™m in an area that is a majority white, and I see a black/hispanic/chinese person that just stands out in the crowd, I immediately pay more attention to them. I donā€™t hate them, I donā€™t think that they should die or anything like that, but I definitely pay more attention to them. Just the same way that, say, black guys would look at a preppy dressed white guy at some sort of major black event/gathering/area of the city. Most people would consider that not racist, but I do. Unless you look at everyone 100% with a colorless eye, then you are racist in one way or the other. Right now, Iā€™m listening to this stupid bitch that is the coach of the Rutgers womens basketball team. She is saying how ā€œsociety has decayedā€. Decayed? Give me a fucking break. Racism has been reduced, A LOT, from the 1970ā€™s. I have friends whose parents Iā€™ve spoken to about this in the past (they are black) that say the exact same thing. Things arenā€™t as bad as people make them out to be. Iā€™d also love to hear someone actually say what they fucking feel, instead of these damned politically correct press statements. ā€œIā€™m deeply saddenedā€. Fuck you. You arenā€™t deeply saddened, youā€™re pissed off! ---

what imus said is wrong. i hate imus, and hate him even more. instead of apoligizing to Rev Al. he should be apoligizing to the Rugters Women basketball team and the Ten. Womens basketball team. which he stil has yet to do ---

i was thinking about this last night after hearing about it & hearing from the players. the racial part to me wasnā€™t as bad as just demoralizing them in general. if the majority of them where white instead of black & he said they were a bunch of stringy blonde haired hoesā€¦ it would have been then same thingā€¦the Rev. would not have made such a scene but iā€™m sre he would ahve said something. its ignorant in general. these women made it to the national championship game. granted they didnā€™t win, but as far as womens sports there probably isnā€™t much thats bigger, maybe a WNBA titme, a gold medal, or a women tennis or golf titleā€¦but besides that there arenā€™t many BIG accolades for womens sports. & who is heā€¦ nobody. he has a shitty time slot on a ā€œnewsā€ station that thinks that finding the real dad to anna nicoles baby is ā€œbreaking newsā€ before this happened more people knew rutgers basketball over imus. soā€¦forget about the racial partā€¦what he did was ignorant in general. the one girl made a good pointā€¦a reported asked were you offended. & she said unless the term ā€œhoeā€ has another meaning that she isnā€™t aware of that has to do with her academic or sports achievements then yes she was offendedā€¦LOL on a side noteā€¦the first time i saw imusā€¦i was leaving for work & walked into a room where his show was on the TVā€¦the first thing i said wasā€¦whats up with that guest. then i was told heā€™s not the guestā€¦its his show.:ugh: ---

you all do realize don imusā€™s show has comedy behind it. Now Im not a listener to him on a faithful basis, i find him kindve boring. But Iā€™ve heard the clips of it, he made the comments in jest. Where it may not have went over well, but who cares. Talk show hosts who use comedy make jokes, some jokes can offend you. Sometimes a joke has a person who has to be the butt of it. I think people are just angered to see an aged white man, make fun of a younger black female. Deal with it. I guess Chris Rock should be fired for his nerdy white jokes too. Itā€™s not like he sat there and dropped N bombs all day long, or called them slaves. He referred to them as ā€œknappy headed hoā€™sā€ Ok, may not of been the funniest joke, but wow he even laughed a few times when he was saying it.
