There used to be a place in London that sold ex police cars, a lot full of crown vics with police wheels, badges etc, everything but the cherries and police graphics. They were dirt cheap too. ---

If it is a cop car, they probably just tossed that badge on for kicks. I have a bunch I pulled off old Crown Vics at the junkyard. They usually have enough sticky backing left to re-stick them on something, so they probably pulled it off an old/wrecked car at the station. It’s just a badge that comes from the factory- it’s nothing special nor does it have to be removed once the cop car is retired. ---

I got the shaft in MA from shit like this a few years back. Fuckin’ honda prelude learned his place though- had to have the team up the 90 pull out in front of me. My last speeding ticket- cops are getting sneaky… ---

they have to, yeah its a bit of a bitch to see that they are abusing their power to pull things off like this, but in the end…the whole purpose is to catch aggressive drivers. When most of us think of getting stopped by the police what are the biggest stereotypes (all too often being proven as true): - power hungry, likes being an ass - out to get your money - take your car away - bug you for no reason at all - poor attitude - behaviour falls under " I AM the Law, therefore im above it" Honestly, you want to have fun with your car? go somewhere where there are no people to endanger…the track. (or if its too far, then somewhere where there are NO people except yourselves). Its going to be preventing senseless deaths in the end. Sure, cops can be absolute bitches at times, but at the end of the day…if you use the public roads as they were intended, and you dont drive agressively, then youll be fine. WE all speed, in human nature we tend to push the limits on everything in life. It comes down to a matter of how excessive it is and how much your actions are having an effect on other drivers on the road. Supporting what “team \” said, ive seen some really dangerous drivers on the road, some just purposefully dangerous, others who looked like they bought their license. If this will prevent a senseless death from occuring AGAIN, im good… ---

i’m more confused by the fact that everyone who has mentioned an STI tends to talk about it like it’s lame or crappy car. STIs are pretty sweet rides. Am I missing something? ---

There was a thread on here about the Turbo 350z and Mustang that the Charlotte, NC police have. I am also under the impression that Raleigh, NC Police have a C6 Z06 that they are using. ---

So I got my cop buddy to run the plate on this thing. Registered to a civilian in Milton… so most likely just some guy’s STi with an old interceptor badge. ---

cops do whatever the fuck they want. and when it comes to Highway Traffic Act, you are guilty until proven innocent. whatever the cop says goes. and if you were to slam your brakes on causing an accident id imagine that the officer in question would turn your life upside down, maybe even throw some cuffs on you for a criminal charge. something people dont understand is that the police are the biggest gangsters around. They own the streets, and a cops word will ALWAYS be taken over yours in court. so saying “his word against mine” is a very bad thing for you.
