# The worst beer I have ever tried

It’s funny how many people binge drink(aka get wasted), a few times per week, and think that they are not an alcoholic.

Occasional binge drinking ≠ alcoholism
Some people (most people) have just been conditioned that this is the best way to consume alcohol. Alcoholism is very different and much more serious. I can’t stand the groups that try to dilute the disease to the point where any consumption beyond a glass of wine with dinner is alcoholism in a feeble attempt to scare the public.

Not a feable attempt at all. It is the truth.
Drinking 10+ drinks per night, several nights a week is bad. Just because it is so popular, doesn’t make it right.
Same with pot really. “I don’t do drugs, just weed.” If you smoke pot often, you are addicted. Still though, people do not want to see the problem.

I wonder if alcoholics would be willing to swill the clamato stuff just because its an
alcoholic beverage.

Feeble because it apparently doesn’t work.
Now, drinking excessively several nights a week can be a sign of alcoholism, but does not necessarily indicate alcoholism. A person can go on a “bender” and not be an alcoholic. If you’ve ever been close to someone who is an actual alcoholic you would recognize the difference.

LOL @ #3 and your theory. I work and go to school full time so im only an alcoholic during the summer :p. And as we covered in another thread, I can stop when I want to, I just don’t want to yet lmao. Ill never enjoy the taste of any alcoholic beverage enough to drink by myself and im FAR to cheap to rationalize getting drunk more than one night a week when im older.
