Well, i went out to the quarry garage to find out that someone stole a shitload of custom parts off my buddy chris’ 300zx. This car has/had the single turbo vg30 setup on it, pretty much a one-of-a-kind deal, which no one else has in the USA, so these parts (mainly the intercooler) are very unique. So, whoever stole it, you made a big mistake. There probably is more, I just could not see too well with it being dark. I am very dissapointed, mainly becuase this is all ONE-OFF stuff (mainly the intercooler) which was made to work with a single turbo to dual throttle body car, which no car other than a single-turbo Z has, and my Z was the only single turbo car in the country. Chris had no insurance (nor would they probably cover parts like this) so this is especially frustrating. He has had nothing but problems with this car, and then something like this happens, which makes things even worse. What they stole: 1. 76mm Precision Turbocharger ($2200) mainly used on toyota supra’s 2. Custom Spearco Core intercooler w/ custom endtanks ($1000) 3. Autometer boost gauge 4. Autometer pyrometer guage 5. PLX Devices Wideband O2 display/controller 6. Tial 44mm gate anodized red I am going to post pics of these parts, so keep an eye and ear out for anyone selling this stuff. That really sucks, fuckin not much is worse feeling than when someone fucks with your or someone you know’s car. Those kind of guys really don’t understand what these things mean to us. ---

this happened in altoona, PA… please keep an eye out if you look on ebay often (especially that intercooler, that is a one-off piece) I think i have an idea on who might have done it. I’m going to call the police tomorrow and get prints taken. ---

The intake manifold, radiator, piping, etc etc was all removed. It was pretty much bare except for the turbo and exhaust manifold, and the intercooler was still mounted on the front support. So it was pretty easy pickings. about 12 bolts and they had the gate, turbo, and intercooler. ---

that sucks… VisionRX7 and I had a garage in Ben Avon (he still uses it) and one of my Metros and his 240sx were broken into and vandalised. Hopefully all car thieves and vandals get ass cancer. ---

I posted it on Tampa Racing. They happen to be one of the biggest enthuiests in the united states of 240’s and 300z’s. Hopefully this helps a little ---
