That is an awesome story!

I found a phone on a plane in the magazine holder thingy on the seat back in front of me. It was when the iPhone 4 fiirst came out. Bad news for that person was I found it towards the end of a 12 hour flight to Barcelona. I think it was probably a long way from home at that point. I gave it to the stewardess though.

I once found a phone, called the number listed dad, told him “I have your sons phone” he said he’d let him know, called back a week later, no answer. After another week, no answer. Threw the phone in a garbage can
