eh, I still dont think this is something anyone should laugh at or joke about, even if you’re just commenting on what you think the media is communicating. :tdown: the media… yeah I don’t care what most on tv have to say about it… lives were still destroyed and all animals (humans and the rest) in that area are still screwed. if you want to get real news, try other news sources that aren’t entertainment programming. there won’t be anything to joke about when you’re truly informed. ---

but telling us about this “real” media and then not supplying any of it or telling us where to get is really kills me. I wanna know whats going on… all I have read are the first hand accounts of volunteers that came back home pissed that they wasted their time helping these ungrateful mother fuckers. If I can’t trust the entertainment media… where should I go? Thats all I want to know. ---

I’d be insulted if I respected you at all. yes, there is a lot of online bullshit… but how about reading an online paper that’s directly the print version… maybe something FROM Lousiana? how about… [http://www.nola.com/](http://www.nola.com/) it took me two seconds to find it. look to some primary sources-- to the blogs of people who’ve been affected by this disaster. Just a little incentive to think twice before talking down to someone. I have both positive and negative karma. The positive outweighs the negative by about 10-1… which is why I act like I do online. Most people find it humerous. Including myself. I use this forum for 2 purposes - To learn. - To entertain myself. (If others are entertained as well… thats great, but def not my goal in life) I don’t disagree that good people were stuck there too. Do I feel bad poking fun at the people who were dirty, horrible people before the hurricane? Nope. Not one bit. I’m not picking on the good folk, nobody would… I harass the bastards that abused the system before and after the tragedy. ---
