i have a friend who regularily tunes/chips honda ecu’s with a wide band o2 sensor and w/e program and said he would be willing to do my silvia’s but is not familar…the two questions he asked me is is it a 28 or 32 pin chip?? :S … thats what his burner is capable of and is there any rec program.
OR
any other tuners out there that are highly recomended to rechip the ecu…
need some work done in the next month or so

They’re easily chipped and IIRC a 27 pin EPROM.

You can pick up chips from ebay by the dozen and NICO has a thread and links for new fuel maps/etc including software!!!

It’s a 28-pin chip. The only modification required to the ECU is a socket for the eprom. Your best bet for a properly running real-time map trace is this little device here, however. [http://home.aanet.com.au/nistune/](http://home.aanet.com.au/nistune/) It essentially turns your ECU into a Stand-alone computer.
