if that is $23k in damage i would take your Elise to the shop that green one was done at. it will get written off for $45k and you can go buy a boosted Elise and still have a few K left over to spend on some kind of incredible fruit cocktail. ---

my point is that the insco isnt going to complain because its a lotus… they wont have the data to debate it. fyi, i work in the collision industry now. a $6500 job is nothing… you can EASILY boost it to almost double that… the pictures will warrant it with the image desk. who is the insurance company, not the broker, the tippity top insco. actually, if you tell me the operating management system that the store is suing i can probably do a bit of digging. i have data in front of me for about 8000 claims so far this year, but not a single lotus. i know from calling insurance companies in the US for quoting that most dont have any data on Lotus’s, i suspect due in part to volume, demographics and lotus’s keeing it quiet. VW does the same thing.
