Meetings are the worst when those without technical knowledge just attempt to summarize with an outdated list of partially applicable buzzwords. Although what makes these meetings all worthwhile is being able to interrupt and remark: “No, that’s not it, that will not work, you are wrong.” Regrettably, it’s probably a bad sign if the person being corrected is the companies’ controller 😢 ---

I also hate having to translate the disgusting degree of politeness in e-mails. Like, “I believe there may be some issues with this process that need to be investigated” via e-mail means roughly “What the fuck did you do to this thing?! Fix it!” in person. ---

I hate going to meetings when there is no fucking agenda typed up. Talk about a time sink, people start blabbing, rambling and having water cooler discussion there in the conference room. Like they have nothing else to do but repeat family guy quotes and imitate their doppleganger from “The Office.” BTW: Anyone in middle management thinks they are Michael. I hate that too. ---

WE are Passionate Caring Respectful Collaborative Accountable god i hate that [rant] so just came back from a meeting we pay our employes 20% less then other companys in the industry b/c we offer free health insurance.(about 25 min latter in the meeting). but in 3 months you will now be paying 45% of you health insurance ($500ihs) but this is ok b/c it will now be offset by moving everyone to 40 hour work weeks (15% more hours) and no raise will be offered this year do to the more hours… but now you will get paid 20% less and pay 15% more the industry average … :yes: and right b4 we left the comment was asked what will the directors be paying… and they said well everyone that is a band 26 or higher will not be paying (159K or more ) let me know where to send my resume guys and i dont give a F if there is stuff spelled worng [/ rant] ---

The major difference is that you can’t flame someone while in the board room. You’ll just end up Jerry McGuire-ing yourself… and even though that release of frustration definitely helped your ego and conscience, when you get bit by a mosquito and get west nile without health insurance, chances are you are going to be royally fucked.
