i wish i still lived at my parents, i built my huge mad sweet bedroom into my parents basement, i had a fish tank in the wall, double doors to outside from my bedroom and i could brign my motorcycle into my bedroom if i wanted, double doors to a huge room that had a hot tub that was open to my own living room. My parents are great and i had friends over all the time and had some crazy parties. I didnt have to deal with that much parent crap from them really. I worked full time and saved up alot of money, had my 97 eclipse paid off, my lifted gmc truck paid off, a nice motorcycle paid off, tons of quads and dirtbikes all the time whenever i came across a good deal. I did not care about spending money when i went out and drank with friends or whatever. good fucking life, i wish i still had that now i sold alot of my toys (still have a couple :ninja) and spent all of the money i saved up to buy and rebuild my small house, and i have a stupid mortgage, and new truck payment that i have been paying for 2 1/2 years and mad bills and i pretty much hate life. ---

Everybody has to grow up and move out eventually. I was forced to grow up faster than most of you because i had a kid in high school, The firts few years were really tough, im shooting par for the course now though. ---

Living with your parents is the jam. Free food, lodging, etc. I eat out 2-3 times a day since I cant cook to save my life. It got old 3 years ago. We’d all have some serious cashish to blow on cars if we lived at home. ---

(82) Looking for 3br 1ba atleast 1car garage for 900 or less a month. rent here at my moms is 800 a month 4br 1 ba 1 car garage /new appliances, new shed next week. etc. ---

I didnt read every post here but glad your thinking about moving out I jsut turned 21 yesterday and i NEED toget the fuck out… its really a shitty feelin when you live your parents… especially ima single guy its even worse to be honest. I think im gonna have to put all my “wants” on hold and just move the hell out for real… I want to OWN the place tho, not rent… but i’ll rent if needed I guess… I rather make money tho… Idk , see what happens, everything is up in the air still so it really depends on the situations etc etc Where I live is totally fine there is no issues staying there, but I feel like a scumbag living at home , like im some high school dropout bum yano, gotta get out and get some ahahah j/p ---

Cash flow and length of ownership are the big factors that pop up when young people buy property. Buying property can actually cost you a lot of money if done wrong instead of save you money and not just on appreciation.
