$4K for a studio? That’s ridiculous. Even the upper east side is in the $2’s. ---

u guys spending over 2k on apartments, why the hell would you want to do that? You can have a NASTY house for the same money ☹ ok j/.k dont answer that cuz then this thread is gonna turn into renting vs owning ---

id love to own my own place, or atleast rent my own place. it just doesnt make sense for me living in fl for most of the year, I’l just live with my parents for a few months a year. no biggie. but if anybody was in a spot for a summer and needed to split an apartment i would totally be down for that. ---

Yea, it would be a better option to buy a house but it’s not an easy decision to buy a $700-$1.X million house. If I knew I wanted to be here the next 10 years or so, I would have pulled the trigger. ---

Go to that times union home search thing, find a house that meets your NASTY quals and then use the little mortgage calculator on the right side of the page… you’re gonna be surprised. ---

yup, i may be able to buy a trailer in the neighborhood i want to live in in CT for 2k a month hahaha (exaggerating of course).
