# Third Jetta's the Charm.

Lot has happened since I last posted about this car. Gurn got the motor in & she runs & drives. All on the road now riding on a set of 15x7 BBS RS reps for now until I get my new project home. Still working the bugs out of it. Drove it to work for the first time & went to start it at lunch time & it wouldn’t start. Had to come back with a truck & trailer to bring it home. I said ehhh what the hell, let’s see if she’ll start. Damn thing started right up. Got it home & scanned for codes, threw a code for the crank sensor. So messed with that & so far it’s started every time since (knock on wood). Plans are to just rock it as a beater. Floors need some love so hopefully I’ll have Gurn patch those up in a few weeks. Other than that, planning on getting it low next week & swapping the BBS reps with some mk4 5 spokes. Also planning on plasti dipping the whole car. Few pics:

VR6 in the rabbit and scrap the Jetta. No OBDII BS to deal with and would probably make an awesome death trap.

Good luck trying to find parts for that Rabbit. They’re discontinuing everything on them

I got a spare VR6 motor & tranny now that are going right into the GTI once I get my kit from Eurowise

I have all the big stuff. Between ECS, BFI & Eurowise I should be able to get some parts if needed. Vortex has also been a jackpot lately. Already got some goodies from there.

Haven’t decided if I’m going to do a simple bolt in or go all out & boost it. Funds are a little tight right now so probably just do the simple stage 1 bolt in.

That’s the plan/hope haha. I don’t have it home yet, going to get it next week. Already buying parts for it lol.
