Source: The Hollywood Reporter October 3, 2007 Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are in talks to reunite for the fourth installment of Universal’s “Fast and the Furious” franchise. Justin Lin and Chris Morgan, who were behind The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, are returning to directing and writing duties, respectively. Neal Moritz will produce the as-yet-untitled installment along with Diesel, who will produce through his One Race Films. The storyline is being kept under wraps. A spring start is anticipated with shooting in Los Angeles, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Diesel and Walker starred together in the first film, which earned more than $144 million in 2001. Only Walker returned for the sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, and sat out the third installment, 2005’s “Tokyo Drift.” That movie had relative newcomer Lucas Black in the driver’s seat but did feature Diesel in a cameo at the end of the movie." This movie is based on Diesel’s trip to mexico after he ran away from LA at the end of the first movie, it was shown in the dvd, that he elopes to mexico in a muscle car, we could expect to see alot of heavy wheels in this next film. This is legit, it was passed to me from my cousin, who actually would have been in F&F Tokyo Drift if he was Fking Asian.lol I think he’s trying out again this year, maybe for an extra, because he dosent have a hooked up car yet. On the other hand im pissed, no doubt i love Canada, i was born here, but if i was still in Calif, this would be so easy, its all my GF fault.lol enjoy guys hope you all feel jealuos looking at this poster like i am.lol ahhh, what ever, maybe one day i’ll have enough money for a low budjet film like F&F and all you guys can be in it.lol ---

wtf. he dident leave in a muscle car he left in the supra last i knew. muscle cars are gay. and he was in tokyo drift also so how the \*\*\*\* does this next movie work out? gayness… they did street racing and drift whats next chariot racing? i was in florida when they did the movie was pretty cool. evo was nice at the time. ---

Yup, assasin is correct Vin, leaves in a Camaro through the Mexican desert at the end of the credits in part 1. I think this part 4 movie is going to be a flash back to what happened with Vin when he was in Mexico, remember in part one it was Vin and Paul. all started with a simple fkin job Paul had to do, which was to arrest the guy.lol since he didn’t we have neared part 4, lol. Well from my understanding, Paul ran for his ass to Miami, and Vin left for the border down south, then in part 2, they show Paul hitting the scene in Miami, and going back to his roots, and finding his best buddy, and making a whole movie about it and how his character makes things right. Then Tokyo Drift part 3, shows the new kid, who is an outsider, who goes from muscle cars to appreciating imports, its basically showing the ignorance between the worlds or car scene but how easily they can understand each other, but main reason for this film was to generate more $$$$ and pay less to BIG actors. At the end of the Tokyo drift, Vin comes back. so, now part 4 is coming out with Vin, and yes it will have Paul, as well, its mainly Vin meeting up with his old friend in the Dominican republic, and going through his past and in the near end of the movie or middle of it he meets up with Paul. This part 4, could be the last movie. btw Han from Tokyo Drift is definately going to be in part 4, because Han said he used to be in mexico, in Tokyo Drift, and Vin also said Han was his boy in Mexico, so Vin came to actually see Han in Japan, after Han ran from Mexico, when Han Said in Tokyo Drift, that Japan is like his mexico. Funny thing i still only like part one, i think part two was too fake, it had good scenes but ukh, they should get some German movie directors and equipment to shoot car scenes, and if they wanna cheap out, don’t make a movie.
