I did/am doing work on the car myself, hopefully I’ll be at the point where I don’t need anybody for shit besides welding soon. Cars are just a hobby for me, I think I’m doing just fine for a finance major with zero car background. I’m also not really looking for advice. How is he possibly not in the wrong when I relied on him for something that he did not come through on? And for the ten MILLIONTH time he is a MORE than adequate mechanic, never once said that he wasn’t. He just only likes working on the car of the week and if he’s halfway through something and doesn’t want to finish it, he’s gone. Also, I don’t know who would want someone working on their car who is 19 and doesn’t have a driver’s license, a job, plans to get a job, plans to go to school, or plans to do anything with their life.
