i can’t wait untill summer… > A few weeks ago there was an exotic Corvette noise thread. I may have what some have been looking for. I have tested 12 different sets of headers on my stock long block '03 Z06. I had the opportunity to test a set of 180 degree headers , custom built by ATI in Wixom , Michigan. Car sounded like very angry large displacement V6. There are some fitment issues on these cars with 180 degree headers , but it can and has been done obviously. ATI may consider building these if there is interest albeit more expensive obviously than other commonly available header combo’s. No seriously, [Right Click, Save As HERE](http://onyxz32.sagemind.com/ShermLaugh.wmv) and compare the two back-to-back. GSXs Z06 sounded sooooo much better than that crap… IMO. EDIT: I just did a blind sound test with 2 other people (sitting in another room) without telling them what cars these clips were from, and they both said the clips were of Civics… and when I told them one was of a Corvette, they said that the clip of MrSmith HAD to be the vette… LMAO ---

Of course this car must have a different cam where as the other guy said that his exhaust is on a stock long block i.e. stock cam. The cam really makes the sound of the car in the above clip. ---
