I have been wanting a audi RS4 or C63 AMG for years but I recently learned about the lexus ISF. They are a good bit less expensive that the germans and just about everything I have read has had some positive things to say about it. Looking for opinions, thoughts, or expierences

I kinda like the old ones, but only because of a strange fascination with odd Japanese cars.

I was looking at used 08 and 09’s with miles. Somehow my S4 has been problem free for nearly 3 years, and now that the shake down of my new track car was successful I am doing a bit of looking around in the 20K range to keep payments reasonable. I guess this is the what would you buy if you wanted a 4 door with around 400hp for around 20K thread I don’t like BMW so thats out.

they are not as good as the germans for performance but they are much more reliable being that they are toyotas.

I have been reading throught the lexus forums and it looks like 450hp crank) is possible with a full exhaust. I would think that would get me to the close enough it makes no difference on speed. Not having AWD is a major drag though, but I have never had a powerful RWD car before. I am basically looking at RS4, C63, G8 and ISF. The significantly lower cost of the ISF is a important factor.
