# ticket mistake question

so i looked around on the internet and with any state/govt. website you cant find shit. so i got a decent sized speeding ticket last night and i looked over the ticket today and noticed that my license plate number on the ticket is not what it is on my car. is there any change that the ticket could be dismissed/void because of this? its only off by 1 number…
just curious to see if i might be able to jump thru this loophole once.

they dropped my whole ticket because they had my license plate number wrong. and yes, it was a speeding ticket, in west seneca.

My aunt had a ticket with the wrong year and color for her vehicle. The judge threw it out and had harsh words for the cop. So it probably depends on the judge/town, just like ANY ticket.

If all else fails, please not guilty and on your plea put that you request a non-point deduction beucase your job is at risk if you get a ticket…you learned your lesson…you were an idiot…etc…
usually they have some pity for that.
