I built a new AMD 64 3000+, BFG 6800GT 1gig PC3200 ram, MSI K8N Neo 2 plat motherboard, awsome case and it cost me 1300…you could probably build something really decent with 800 bucks even a AMD 64bit probably ---

my pc is way better than Whitey’s. 🙂 2.4ghz, 1gb ram, 80gb hard drive, geforce 4 128mb video card, 19"flat panel. and it was all free because the company bought it for me to VPN into work if there is a problem free pc\>\* ---

Anybody selling computers makes a killing on them. For curiosity sake Whitey, what basic components do you need to build a server? (just jot down a list) I’m considering building one piece-by-piece as I get the $$, not one big purchase. ---

☹ have to fix car first… that’s $500 alone. Plus I don’t have anyone to host now to pay for the hosting (After the fact I don’t think I want to host those jerks I was going to anyways…), and I won’t have the $$ to buy it before I need to renew hosting that’s why I was thinking I’d buy it piece-by-piece. ---
