# Time for new mufflers lol...opinions wanted

sorry to make another thread
but i got the bbk headers and O/R x pipe on the car. the stock mufflers are still on the car so its barely any louder. was very disappointed after i started it the first time.
so i have narrowed the slim selection of mufflers that will work with the side exhaust down to 2. Spintech 333 scs or Magnaflow Magnapacks
cost isnt really an issue but the Spintechs are 2X more than the Magnapacks

i like the sound of the magnaflow’s the other one seemed to kind of have an annoying drone, plus it is half the cost

i might test it out this weekend. just take the mufflers off and see how it sounds. i think it will pop too much tho

I’ve never heard a Spintech that I didn’t like…Magnaflows have never really done much for me either. Those videos reaffirm my feelings.

lol im getting about as far with you guys as the roush forum. im kinda leaning towards spintechs at the moment. i have to get custom piping done for either. which would be different so i wanna be sure before i commit to anything

I might be buying one of those 28" magnaflow mufflers for my cav.
That and the Brullen muffler I have should sound decent and much better than
by current dragging exhast pipe sound.
I’d be interested to know how much muffler man charges you for all the custom work.

i will let you know what it cost. ill show before and after pics so you can tell what they had to do
