I got a call from someone yesterday looking for a Mary so and so. I said this has been my number for 2 years and the lady was pissed and really snotty. She said she just talked to Mary on this # a month ago. I repeated my # and she said yep. I said sorry I have had this # for 2 years. She was super put off. haha. OK you don’t like the reasonable physical argument, how about this: If time travel were possible we’d already know. Bam. Think about it. At some point in the infinite future someone would come back and let the cat out of the bag. Taking this concept even further, people would be going back and forth all the time and the very concept of clock time would no longer exist. There would be no past and future. There would just be a 4th coordinate you would have to reference. “I’m going to Mighty on Sheridan in 2006. You in?” Call me arrogant and uncreative all you want but time travel in the back-to-the-future-michael-j-fox sense is not possible and to think that it is shows a lack of understanding of what time even is. Seriously?? If you go back 10 years to ground zero and the world trade centre buildings were still there. But then now there is no buildings. Where would they go if it’s the same earth? Are we all on the same earth? Walking among each other in different time periods? Even if you go back 2 seconds with your time machine, where would you really be. You would have to assume that there are TRILLIONS of earths EXACTLY THE SAME cause there is no way there are hundreds of me sitting at the same chair in the same office since I walked in this morning. ---
