# "Times are Changin"...

Good luck for multiple reasons.

Electric motors are torque monsters and since transmissions sole purpose is to effectively deliver tq, there won’t be a need for 6 speeds. Most electric cars at the moment are single gear/speed which is why top speed is so low, two gears electrics are few. I can see CVT trannys having a future with electric cars.

Plus people will kill themselves with the unfamiliar power curve, trying to shift half way through a turn.

Besides other reasons, but it’s quite unlikely.
