# Timing Belt Job Performed Twice

Had that come all the way out and gotten chewed up in the belt then yes their fault, but if the bolt in question doesn’t hold a rotating component of the timing belt system it isn’t the likely cause of your issue.

The oil pump is inside the motor, you mean the water pump, 3’oclock position on the engine pic there? If so, its not the fastener from that pump, the one in the pic laying there is a torx button head the WP bolts are standard 10/12mm with allen center flange bolts:

Its defiantly a cover bolt, where it came from is the question now.
