# Timing Chain removal...?

I have currentmly started taking off my head off my 93 hatch (ka24de) but ran into a little situation…lol…how do i remove the timing chanin, my valve cover is off, now am not sure if i gotta take the crank py ofulley off, because i would think its connected (the camshaft an crrankshaft)…does the head come off with the intake runners…trying to get that off but its being a pain…dont no whats holding it back, anyone have any ideas or have done this, can plz give a head up.

where you located? are you just pulling the cylinder head or do you want to replace the chain and tensioner?
