there is suppossed to be an 11mm nut that goes over top of the valve stem. i have installed them at work many times… i work for a gm dealer so i guess you could try there. ---

if its that much of an issue, see if you can get other sensors that work that use the band and wraps around the inside of the wheel… not sure what sensors will carry over to other vehicles tho… ---

I think I’ll just deal with the tire pressure light blinking (black tape over) and it’ll ding when I turn it on only. These are just another pita, lol.
