Anybody here running 225/45-17 on an 8J wheel on the front and 255/40-17 on a 9J rear? Offsets are +32 f and +38 r. What do you think of the size? Does it rub? Any clearance issues? Fenders rolled? I’d rather go with more tire than a 215/45 - 235/45 setup. ---

Hmm a 255 on a 17x9. I know with the +20 offset that 5zigen offers you would Definalty have to roll you fenders. With 18mm further in you might just have to bend the lip out of the way. There is an excellent thread on [Zilvia.net](http://Zilvia.net) of all of these rims,tire sizes, suspension set ups, big brakes, and alingment setting that will work. Just remember if it does not fit there are 2 solutions, more camber or a bigger fender pull. ---

I think you have it backwards. +20 will stick out more than +38. Got a link to the thread? ---

Which lip are you talking about? The fender lip? Or a lip inside the fenderwell? EDIT: K I know what you mean now. 🙂 These 9’s fit just fine with a 235/45 on them. I can’t see an extra 10mm of tire on each side making much of a difference. Plus the 255/40 is slightly smaller in dia (0.3"). ---

:oops: looks like i am stuck with 225’s on a 9 and 245’s on my tens. So sad. i wish i could do 235’s and 255 but the tires i ordered are unavalible and i got st115’s for 600 ish. ---
