# Tirox Chain Cleaner

Walmart. $5 for about 1 gallon (I think it was a gallon, might’ve been 1/2 gallon). I only needed like a pint of the stuff, so I’ve got a lot left over. You can have some of mine if you want.

Here’s some pics from cleaning the chain today. Tools used: Kerosene, 1 tooth brush, 3 rags, and dupont chain lube

Before: Chain was coated in a thick coat of white BelRay chain lube

After first step of cleaning (rag soaked in kerosene)

After the toothbrush w/ kerosene. A bit of rust left but it all came off after I lubed the chain and took the bike for a ride
