I try not to have such happy hands… but a lot of the parts of that course were just insanely tight for a C5 (especially one with tires sticking an extra .5-1" out from the fenders). I agree about the stock tires on a C6 (or a C5 non-Z06 for that matter). The run-flats are GARBAGE. They really don’t do the car justice. I used a base-model C6 with the new A6 earlier this year. It had the base suspension, though with C6 Z06 sway bars and shocks. When we used it on my race tires it was pretty impressive for such a plush riding car. The power was a bit underwhelming coming through the A6 though. If you ever get a chance try a C5 Z06 that is properly setup for SS class.
