The house I currently am living in is an investment property, not a house I’m planning on living in for a long time. Those $169 vinyl replacements from Window Depot are hard to beat for a rental type property. They charge 40 bucks extra for each window for insulation, its tough to find anything else at that price point, plus they install it. ---

^ I have those guys coming over to my place for an estimate on Friday. They are replacing a small window in the kitchen (only storm window left) and the picture window I cracked with a stone 2 years ago. I’ll post the price when I get it. ---

my neighbor told me to stay away from Window Depot, they messed his stuff up 3 times I guess. What he said ---

The screen frames match the color of the windows which is nice. The inside of the window is wood. Stain or paint to your liking.
